Just a reminder that we’ll be celebrating the Chinese mid-Autumn festival TONIGHT – Friday, 28 September 2012 starting at 8:30pm at The Father’s House.
What we’ll do:
- Make lanterns (Moh Foong says, “Battery operated lanterns are not real lanterns! And the music will…. argggh!”)
- Riddle-guessing Contest (Awesome lanterns to be won!)
- Story-telling Session on – the legend of the mooncake
- Traditional Chinese tea ceremony
As part of the fellowship, everyone is asked to “BYOM” = Bring your own mooncake! However, don’t bring too much (we always get more than enough leftovers!). A good ratio is to think of having at least two people share a mooncake. So, if you are coming as a family of four, just bring two please. 🙂
This is an open event – so please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to join us!
