Today, we officially welcomed (last time wasn’t so “official”) and initiated Emily into the ministry of our Church, with a prayer of blessing. It was a “service of beginnings” for her, where we also pledged to support her throughout her internship year with prayer, friendship and whatever else it might take to help her grow into the ministry she has been called to!
Welcome (again and officially) Emily – enjoy yourself and uh… hope you survive the experience! (Kidding… kinda!)
