Speaking from the lectionary text today, Rev. Augustin this morning preached about how God calls us to press on towards what’s ahead in Christ.
To do that, we were encouraged to:
- Forget the encumbrances of the past
- Train or press on towards the prize ahead in Christ
- Answer the call to seek after excellence
Still, in the end, there is God’s grace, ever watching to pick us up when we fall.
