Last Sunday, John preached from the week’s lectionary readings. In his sermon, he explains that the 10 Commandments show that we are meant to be under God’s rule. The 1 Corinthians passage teaches to not allow factions to dominate us. And finally, we should, at all times – and especially during this Lent season – focus on Christ.
