Just a gentle reminder that, from tomorrow (1 January 2012) onwards, church service will begin at 10am!
This is so that we will have more time to spend together after service to enjoy fellowship and refreshments.
And, maybe, invite someone new out to lunch!
As 2011 comes to an end, you are warmly invited to a time of reflection at The Father’s House, Bangsar Lutheran Church this Saturday night, 31 December 2011, 8:30pm.
It will be a serene time of readings, prayer and reflection. Holy Communion will also be served.
This occasion is open to all, so we hope to see you then.
More sights along the stroll down memory lane!
Check out the “old” The Father’s House – with the yellow/pink/red combo coloured walls! And, gosh, I think I really do miss our table setting seating arrangement!
We’re unearthing more goodies from yesteryears in the pursuit of updating this blog/site! (Ironic, isn’t it?)

Please be reminded that, beginning 1 January 2012, we will be starting our Worship Gatherings at 10:00am!
Refreshments will be served after service to facilitate more time for fellowship. So please stay back for a chat or two… or three… or four…
Here’s a little short video/slideshow of Christmas at BLC 2011.
(The audio is the result of an impromptu jamming session – so forgive it’s “raw” feel!)
Thanks to Yu Chiet for putting it together! Photo credits to the various avid photographers and social media enthusiasts who attend service at BLC!
Blessed Christmas 2011!
May the peace, joy, hope and love of Christ be made known and made more real in our lives as we celebrate how God has come to be with us… Emmanuel.

This Advent/Christmas season, we were richly blessed to have our Orang Asli brothers and sisters from the Batu 20 Cameron Highlands congregation visit us. During their short stay from 16 – 18 December, we enjoyed a great time visiting some of KL’s attractions, a wonderful evening fellowship event on 17 December, as well as worshiping together on Sunday.
Thank you to Moh Foong and her team for organizing this wonderful time of fellowship and for our Batu 20 brothers and sisters for making the journey all the way to KL to visit us!
Our visiting brothers and sisters from Batu 20 Orang Asli Congregation! (Well, not all of them are Orang Asli…)
Our Orang Asli family blessing us with a song and dance performance during Service. The song talked about following and worshiping Jesus in both good times and bad.

BLC Carolers at MPH MidValley
In what seems to be now an annual tradition, BLC Carolers took again to MPH Bookstores for a time of caroling.
This year, we sang at MPH 1 Utama (10 Dec) and MPH MidValley (18 Dec).
Many thanks to the carolers who spent the time to come for practices, and especially for Carl who volunteered to lead the caroling this year!
See you again next year! (And we’re also hoping more will join us!)
